I’m a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist based in New York City. I offer both in-person sessions in Downtown Brooklyn and virtual sessions.
My clients often come to therapy during periods of transition or when anxiety, depression, trauma, or longstanding patterns begin to interfere with the life they want to lead. Many are thoughtful and high-functioning, yet sense that something needs to shift to live a more engaged and purposeful life.
My approach is warm, curious, and direct. I work primarily from a relational psychodynamic perspective, exploring how your experiences have shaped your emotional patterns and relationships.
I am trained in EMDR and offer trauma-focused treatment for clients who are interested in this approach. EMDR can be used as a structured, focused treatment or integrated into ongoing psychotherapy.
I also integrate cognitive behavioral and other evidence-based approaches to provide practical tools for creating change in the here and now. I am an active therapist and believe that collaboration, humor, and empathy are essential to meaningful therapeutic work.
